This board is a blast. Riding 159cm @ 5ft 9, 190lbs. Board has a ton of snap to, it rushes through turns. Most stable at high speeds and even going through bumps, my skier friends were stunned how fast and comfortable I could go through small moguls. There is no chill with this board, it's in full send mode. Really have enjoyed the float on several 12in+ days this season. Its definitely a leg burner and not for the faint of heart.
Hands down best board I have ever ridden, blasts through pow, rips groomers, and tip and tail are still soft enough to butter your way down the hill if ya want!
I just hit 8" of heavy PNW POW. It blasts right though the mash potatoes. Really easy to throw around. Floats well but it's no Mullet. Super stable on the groomers at speed. It was a bit twitchy at first but I detuned the contact points and it was awesome after that. No regrets!
If you’re just starting out, or doing slow speed maneuvers, this not your board. It doesn’t turn easily at slow speeds. But you’re ready to strap your ass to a cruise missile and break the sound barrier then this is your stick. This board hold an edge unlike anything I’ve ridden before. It feels amazingly stable at high speeds. I like this board more than my Orca.
Cant remember the last time I rode a board that so reliably held its edge in varied NewEngland scratchy conditions. Stable in full speed carves and excellent leverage/tail pop in all jumps! Demo'd 157. Felt a bit stiff. Will most likely purchase 154 based upon longer demo available. 5'8, 162 lbs.
