Gr8 board

Okay so I just did a Colorado trip....First off wanna say this board is fantastic, it took me a bit to get used to it but that is bc i rode the same board for 10 years. So anyway, the board rides and feels amazing, great pop, magnatraction is phenomenal on the groomers and this board rips the park. Tested the waters on some power ans it can handle itself pretty well till about ankle height powder. I also did some small tree runs to test the maneuvering of the board and it handled just fine. If u are looking for a mountain board but also wanna hit the park and send some jumps this is for you

Lives up to its name

Spent 2 years on camber board with a standard edge building up to intermediate advanced. Found this board at my local shop in the demo bin, had to give it a shot for the price. Was uncertain how I’d handle the magne traction…wow, never felt such control on the ice coast. Completely stable at high speeds. Carving down blacks instead of sliding, riding flat on frozen groomers without a care. Good pop on the jumps. Handled anything I rode on. Will be riding it for years to come. Absolutely love it.

Great resort board

Rode this thing every summer when I was at high cascade. Was a great all around board. If you like something a little stiffer that can cruise the whole mountain, this is the board for you. As always with the Mervin products this thing is durable as all hell. Jibbing rocks, getting thrown around in the parking lot and bumped in lift lines and this thing never waivered or took a scratch on the top sheet. Not my most ideal park board but if you want something that will last you forever to just cruise the whole resort, this is your board.

Amazing for The Money

I've been riding big, stiff, aggressive boards for the last 15yrs but with a little one learning to ride it was time to pick up something with a little more flex/maneuverability. From the first day out, riding the Money felt really natural. There weren't any quirks or things to get used to. By the end of the first run it was clear that this is poppy but still stable enough to carve pretty hard. I've ridden it this season on groomers, late day resort chunder, in the trees, on natural lightly and unmaintained trails, and in four or so inches of powder and it held its own on all of them. The one place it doesn't shine is steep groomers. You can ride them and it doesn't feel sketchy, but I've lost the heel edge on a couple headwalls where my Lib Tech Skunk Ape would have held without issue. So it's not a big mountain charger, but it's not meant to be. Gets five stars from this non-park riding dad for being a basically perfect resort board that can step up on technical trails.

first real board

after about 5 years of riding an old hand me down sims board, i finally pulled the trigger this year and bought my first real setup. im a beginner/intermediate rider and so far im loving this board. i feel like this board has a lot of control and is very forgiving. ive progressed so much more i did so far this season than i have in 5 years of being a weekend warrior. this board helped me re fall in love with snowboarding and i feel like this board is gonna be a part of my snowboarding progression story!
