Where on the mountain this snowboard is especially tuned to excel.
Beginner level snowboards are fun and approachable for all riders while an advanced snowboard is tuned for a particularly aggressive / athletic style of snowboarding.
How easily does this snowboard bend under pressure? A soft flex is great for fun maneuverability while a stiff flex is better for aggressive high speed hill bombing.

I have ridden this board 4 days since buying it in December 2022 and I have had to repair a fingernail chip at one end in the topsheet - hopefully it holds up and I did see in online reviews that topsheet chipping is an issue with this board. Love the performance not super excited about the quality overall.
An exceptionally well-rounded board that will give you the confidence to ride harder and faster, regardless of conditions. Billy goating through tight trees, steep & deep, pipe, park, snake runs, or side hits - it will all be worthy and more fun. The Ladies Choice has been my daily driver for 5 seasons and counting. Year 1: I was an intermediate-advanced rider, spending most days in the park. Now, I am primarily in the side/backcountry and love it just the same. I credit my progression over the years to the predictability and versatility of this board. Set back your stance on deeper days & enjoy the ride.
I've been riding my Gnu Ladies' choice for one-and-a-half seasons now. It has been a super fun and playful ride. I've been bombing down the groomers, hitting some rails and jumps, riding halfpipe and some powder aswell. So, you can ride anything with it. It holds the edge well in icy conditions. But when the slopes (or lift lines) are bumpy, you have to be very alert with this board. It is very wobbly, in comparison with a stiffer camber board that stays on the line you'll set it. The only thing I'm disappointed with this board is how fast the board has given up, it's like a noodle now and also the back edge snapped in two (and then three more times)... Super fun board but unfortunately doesn't last long.
I went on this board today on groomed trails + deep powder. It was extremely fun! I used to have a jibbing park board with high flex which made it hard to carve, go fast or keep the nose up in the powder. This board feels much more stable at high speed, very easy on powder, and still very versatile on side jumps (it is wickedly poppy). I haven’t tried any reels or big jumps yet.
