To start out.. these things look rad. They were simple to set-up and making adjustments on-hill was easy. They're a little softer than what I was used to but they're extremely comfortable and keep the board strapped to my feet. Overall a good looking and performing binding for someone that likes a medium to soft flex.
I have owned transfers for the last few years so switching to joints was a bit of a change. The quality of BMBW's bindings have definitely gone up in the past few years, I've had no problems with screws coming loose. The binding reaches higher along the calf which makes the forward tilt a dream! Love the flexible materials and all the lay-back capabilities I have on this set of bindings. They are not flimsy by any means but still allow for maximum binding tweak during grabs
the joints are really great bindings they can get you through anything i have ridden them in various conditions slush pow hardpack ice i bought them in december we are closing on the 10th of june so most of the season i'm on them amazing i love them the straps so comfortable lock in great the drive plates is another genius thing that came out from MERVIN mfg cheers guys it works so good kills the micro vibrations sick response it feels like a part of the snowboard an extension of it sick nice medium flex whoever looks for not a stiff and not too soft binding that works in pow piste and the park that's it plus the price point is great BMBW sick bindings trust MERVIN manufacturing
