Flex

How easily does this snowboard bend under pressure? A soft flex is great for fun maneuverability while a stiff flex is better for aggressive high speed hill bombing.

Playfull resort shredder

Amongst all the many Mervin boards I have ridden the Headspace is the most " complete" one, it really is the swiss knife which can do anything from park to pipe to butters to groomers, moguls, side hits and anything you find at the mountain. Angry Snowboarder rightly says it rides as if you have ridden it a 100 days. The C3 provides amazing grip but is totally catch free, it gives total confidence, whatever you want to do will happen effortless and fearless. Flex is butter friendly, pop is enough for medium jumps, maybe not ideal for the pro line though but a skilled rider will manage that either. The Headspace is a quiver killer for any ressort riding.

Best board ever

Best board ever. I’m a hardcore park rider that also loves ripping the mountain and blasting side hits. This board does it all so confidently. I’ve been re upping this board for years. I pray it never gets taken out of the line up. I ride the 155W and have a size 10 foot. Love the wide option it feels so stable. Forest also always kills it on the graphic. I’ve been riding 28 years and this is by far my fav freestyle park board I’ve ever had. Keep up the good work Gnu!

Great board! but lack of larger sizes

The board is really great for everything it says it is supposed to do. Increases fun-level of a day in the park and free styling the rest of the resort! But Mervin; we need both the Head Space and the Off Ramp in a bit larger wide sizes for the serious park/freestyle riders that are a bit taller and bigger footed. Like a 160W. (And a real wide version of the TRS too - not just a semi-wide when you are at it :-) )

Fun Board - poppy and lively

Overall fun Board, poppy and energetic feel and generally easy ride. It's primarily my park board and plenty of pop for jumps. Spins easily ( I downsized a bit) and jobs nicely. Solid edge hold without being too grippy even with magne traction. Chatters a bit with speed and not really a carver. Great board to do what it's designed to do.

Final decision

I was in search of a new used board for next season for months before I decided to finally pull the trigger and just buy a brand new board. My final decision was this board because 1 I wanted a local made board, and 2 the design was my favorite by far. It’s unbelievable how many board companies make some pretty whack designs for their flagship boards. Although I wasn’t able to take the board up before the end of the season I can tell it’s better than any of my other boards by a long shot and I can’t wait to use it next season and every season after for a long time.
