Great first ride in variable East Coast conditions

After one day I am liking the feel of this board. Excellent test of what it has to offer in a variable East Coast day of fresh snow, ice, slush, tight runs, and wide groomers. Traction on ice was excellent. Went right through slush without chatter during turns. . The base is fast and a surprising amount of pop from the tail. The turns were fun and hard to categorize in a good way. Somewhere between responsive and surfy. Turn initiation was very quick and carves were locked in. After just one day I can say this is an excellent option for someone who rides varied conditions, and is looking to step up their game with a more aggressive board.

Couldn't expect more!

Before buying it I read all the positive reviews here and I have to confirm them: absolute quiver killer. I'm 170 cm tall for 71 Kgs, chose the 152 and don't regret it. I ride it narrowest stance posy-posy F 21 B 9. Lately I'm specializing in carving, but with this board it felt natural to like jumping as well, as the pop is there. Pow is more than doable, but it's still to be considered a best effort. Very proficient in uneven snow, the only weak spot is definitely the base which I don't find particularly fast (especially in Pow). I love its stability and how dump it is. With so little effective edge it allows you to carve and slingshots you out of the turns like it was a much longer board. I even used it at the snowpark and it didn't let me down at all. Pure jibbing may be out, but all the rest is there. Very high value for money.

I've had this board for a few years and riding tonight in east coast chop and ice was a reminder of how stable this board is. I have a better pow board and hard to believe, a better carving board in the Freecarver 9000, but this board is such a perfect blend of power and playfulness. I can't imagine a better formula for a single deck. This would be a great step up for an intermediate rider, looking to advance.

Fast, grips hard pack, push it and trust it. Leaves deep trenches. USA built, not a chinese sell out.
