Description

ALL MOUNTAIN - DIRECTIONAL

Not your gutless fish. Travis has juiced up this Jackson Hole resort slasher into an apex all terrain tech shred predator. A long floaty nose combined with a powerful poppy contact maximizing short radius “Whale Tail Technology”. A tight 7m trench gouging sidecut. Wide enough to allow you to really put it on a hardpack rail with no toe drag and float pillows like a dream but still narrow enough to be your daily driver all season long. Take it to AK, drop BC pillow stacks or blow minds at the home resort all season. A mammal to eat all fish. TR. Award winning!

VOLUME SHIFTED, RIDE THIS BOARD 3-6 CM SHORTER THAN YOUR NORMAL BOARD.

  • Now built with eco-sublimated Ocean-bound PBT top material made from recycled PET plastic waist collected from coastal areas.
  • Introducing strong, poppy Makah Hemlock wood cores sustainably harvested by the Makah tribe who reside on the Northwestern most corner of the USA near our factory.

Travis and Mervin will be donating a portion of the sale of each Orca snowboard to the www.orcaconservancy.org in support of their efforts to prevent the extinction of the Salish Sea’s Southern Resident Killer Whales. #betheirvoice

Flex

How easily does this snowboard bend under pressure? A soft flex is great for fun maneuverability while a stiff flex is better for aggressive high speed hill bombing.

Love it!

I picked up this board to replace my terrain wrecker since I have been looking for a volume shifted board to replace it. This feels like the perfect fit. I'm 6'2" and about 180 lbs with a stance between 51 and 54 cm. I went for the 153 instead of the 156 for more playfulness and agility, but I think the 156 would still be plenty agile. It is the most fun board I have ever ridden in choppy slush and ice. It's a little more loose feeling, but I never felt sketchy and it handles those random ice patches perfectly if you're on an edge. It's fun for side hits and felt great on small jumps. It can be a bit hard to jib or do some floor stuff, but most people are probably fine. I think this could easily be an everyday board, but I'm excited to see some trees and pow with this thing.

2627 Orca II Sizing

5’9’ 175lb and a 153cm Orca II 2027 model. For me, this is a dedicated only powder board. Was excellent in an early April 2026 deep 1 foot powder day on the west coast of US. I struggled in selecting length based on some recommendations of the prior Orca that probably would have slotted me for a 150 or maybe even shorter. But there are big dimension changes between the 150 and 153 in widths, compared to other lengths. Went with longer length and definitely the right choice to get through some of the flatter area deep powder spots when needed. Hope this helps, good luck.

2027 Orca II Review

Took my brand new ’27 Orca II out on the best powder day of the year 4/2/26 with 10” new at the base and over 1’ up top. The board was phenomenal!! So easy and fun in the deep stuff and made me better than I am.
