Great bindings. Rip everything on the mountain from butters, airs, to steeps. Never felt too stiff or soft, just perfect. I've ridden them on a Banked Country, RCC3 (RIP *sad face*), and Space Case and they have performed well. My ONLY complaint would be the screws on the ankle straps come loose from time to time and means that I need to check them more often and even ride with a tool. If not for this issue, they'd be perfect!
I put these on my wayfinder II. I feel more plated to my board then ever before. I am one with the flow! Had the best turn of my life in these bindings. (32 years of boarding) Thats saying something.
Well, the headline says it. These are honestly the best bindings I've written since the last 36 years! So on point and extremly comfortable + suberb quality!!!! I LOOOOOOVE THEM! Got them last year - Why did I wait so long to ride them? But to be true, I switched from the Transfer to the Axtion as the Axtions feel a little bit more foregiving. So I have the Transfer in spare and ride 2 Axtions on my boards.
I've been riding BMBW bindings since they made a comeback. I just got the Axtion bindings this year and I couldn't be more psyched on them. Having a 9.5 boot, I don't need the heel cup adjustment that the Transfers provide. I love the Transfers and have had quite a few pairs, but the simplicity of the Axtions has won me over with less moving parts and a more streamlined feel for those who don't need that adjustability.
A while back, (2016 or so) I met a dude doing some product testing at Mountain Creek for BMBW. I have been riding the same pair of Union Forces since 2014 and this year (2023) finally decided it was time for a change. I took good care of the Forces over the years and was a little torn on whether or not to make the switch. Long story short, I can't believe I waited this long. The Axtions exceeded any and all expectations I could have had within a binding. Perfectly responsive comfortable if I'm croozin groomers or in the park. My riding has progressed so much throughout the years and it feels amazing to have a binding that matches my style and overall wants and needs as I curate and really find what I'm looking for out of a product. Construction is top notch and I cannot see myself going back. 20+ days on these so far and cannot wait to see how they hold up. Cheers BMBW ???? -Long time perspective customer, first time buyer.
